2. How can I get great rates at multiple hotels?
To request a proposal at multiple hotels, click on Request For Proposal and then click on the Multiple Hotel Proposal icon or contact our National Sales Team.

3. What is the Privileged Planner™ program?
The Privileged Planner™ program is a recognition and reward program offered by SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts to meeting planners. As a member you automatically receive great meeting benefits such as a welcome gift and two rooms upgrade certificates upon signup, monthly “members only” prize drawings and additional recognition, privileges, special offers and more. 4. Who owns and operates this website?
GreatCanadianHotels.com and GreatCanadianMeetings.com are a registered domain names owned and operated by SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts LP. SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts manages over 24 hotels in cities and resorts across Canada including 12 different brand franchises and independent hotels, see Question 5 below. 5. How will my personal information be used?
SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts does not sell or lend any personal information collected during your visit online or to our hotels. It is our goal to learn more about you, so that we can ensure your stay with us is satisfactory and to provide information about our programs and services that may interest you. 6. There are many different hotels on this website, what is the affiliation with the national hotel brands?
SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts is one of Canada's top performing hotel and resort management companies with a focus on mid-market to upscale full-service hotels and extended-stay properties. The Company also manages hotels and resorts for third-party owners with over 24 properties across Canada. SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts has franchise agreements with leading hotel brands including Radisson, Crowne Plaza, Ramada, Quality, Best Western and Hilton. 7. What are the check-in/check-out times?
Hotels have a standard check-in time beginning at 3 or 4pm (varies by hotel), and check-out time before 11am or 12noon, (varies by hotel). Special arrangements can be made for large groups and / or meetings. Please notate your special requests in your proposal to us.

8. Do you allow pets?
Some pets are allowed in some hotels for an additional charge. Please contact the hotel directly to determine costs and policies.

9. What is the exchange rate?
All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars unless specified otherwise. Please visit your bank for today’s currency exchange or go to http://www.xe.com/ucc.

10. Are the hotels wheelchair accessible?
Each hotel has wheelchair accessible rooms in various room categories. Contact the hotels directly for specific details.
