RADISSON HOTEL SASKATOON UNVEILS $5 MILLION RENOVATION, NOW SASKATOON’S PREMIER MEETING DESTINATION
SASKATOON, SK (January 6 2011) –Radisson Hotel Saskatoon, the city’s largest hotel, is celebrating the launch of a fully renovated banquet and meeting space, an updated lobby and new water park.
As specialists in banquets, conferences and special events, Radisson Hotel Saskatoon, has set itself apart by defining and designing meeting and conference spaces that are relevant and technologically up-to-date, with the focus being on creative and effective meetings.
The new Connections Café, located on the conference level was created as a central information, networking and “continuous coffee break” centre, servicing the needs of all banquet and conference guests in the hotel. “The Connections Café allows us to offer our banquet and conference guests a wider variety of high quality, fresh food and beverages” says executive chef, Trevor Robertson. “Gone are the days where meeting planners need to address every small detail. With the Connections Caféand new meeting package concept, everything is included, and the food & beverage offering is fresh and inspiring” says Robertson.
While the hotel has been continuously refreshed over the years, this is the first complete renovation of the second floor meeting and banquet space, the lobby and the water park. It includes a major upgrade to the High Speed Internet service, all new carpets, window coverings, custom tile, wall coverings, furniture, lighting and accessories, all in a contemporary décor reflecting a sophisticated palette of modern colours.
